Peter Sherriff is a Program Manager with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services at the Child Parent Resource Institute in London. Peter was previously the Deputy Director and the Chief Instructor of the Leadership Development Unit at the Ontario Police College – Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Prior to joining the Ontario Police College, he was the Regional Manager, West Region with The Centre For Leadership and Learning – Ministry of Government Services.
Peter has been with the Ontario Public Service for 34 years, and has held Sr. Management and Leadership positions in several different provincial ministries across the province. His background is in Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Strategic Change Management, and Executive Coaching. He is a Master Facilitator, and has been seconded to Cabinet Office to lead the Ontario Public Service Ideas Campaign, Premier's Pre-Budget Consultation, and was the Lead Facilitator for the Postsecondary Education Review with former Premier Bob Rae.
Peter has a Masters degree in Education from the University of Western Ontario, and has an Honours degree in Adult Education from Saint Frances Xavier University in Nova Scotia.
